What Your Company Formations offers
Its confirmation statement service costs £90 plus VAT. The £50 Companies House filing fee is included in the £90. The page lists CS01 preparation and submission, a review of company information and email confirmation once accepted. It covers updates to SIC codes, statement of capital, shareholder information and PSC exemption details.
The confirmation statement page does not state a turnaround time.
Its director appointment and resignation service costs £19.99, VAT excluded. For a resignation it includes a resignation letter, board minutes and a resolution, as well as the Companies House filing. It says documents are delivered within 2 to 3 days.
It also sells company dissolution at £50, VAT excluded, with board minutes. Its page says it pays the £13 Companies House fee on your behalf, but does not say whether that is within the £50. Dormant company accounts cost £118 + VAT. For dormant accounts, its accountants send an email questionnaire, and the page says companies that have never traded are filed within two business days.
What SimpleFilings offers
SimpleFilings charges £4.99 for each filing. Any applicable Companies House fee is included in the total price, at the government rate. There is no subscription and no annual renewal.
It covers more than 30 Companies House filings. These include director, secretary and PSC changes, registered office changes (AD01), business activity (SIC) changes, company name changes and strike off. It also covers HMRC tasks such as VAT registration, PAYE registration and telling HMRC a company is dormant.
For a confirmation statement, we check whether the current 12 month payment period has already been paid. If it has, no further Companies House fee is due.
SimpleFilings does not prepare board minutes or resolutions. For dormant accounts, you review and approve the accounts yourself before filing.
